Jukai Ceremony for Elizabeth Choe

On Saturday, March 30 at 10:30am there will be Jukai for Elizabeth Choe, led by Vanja Palmers. Elizabeth first came to Jikoji as a student of the late Zen Shiatsu Master Ryuho Yamada in 2001, was a resident from 2004-2006, married her partner Oscar Granados in the Jikoji Zendo on Christmas Day 2005, and currently lives in San Jose with her family. Elizabeth has been practicing with the Middle Way Zen Sangha in San Jose's Japantown and participates with the Bamboo in the Wind Children's practice. She is deeply grateful to the many teachers and sangha members who have supported her on the path to taking the Precepts. After the ceremony, lunch will be provided. Dessert is always welcome!
