"First Saturday" Zazenkai is a full day immersion into intensive, silent practice, a deeper meditation. A 1-day retreat alternating periods of sitting mediation with walking meditation. Lunch, tea, and a dharma discussion round out the day. All are welcome to join us for all or part of the day.

COST: There is no fee for attending Saturday Zazenkai, which is freely offered, though dana (donations) are always appreciated, and may be made on our Donate page.

If you're thinking about attending a sesshin or extended retreat, Zazenkai is a wonderful way to discover the basics of intensive practice. Breakfast and lunch will be served. Or make it part of an extended weekend with our Sunday Program and reserve a room with us.

Please email or call (408-741-9562) for more information.
